Every new boxer see for the boxing equipment first. Fortunately Boxing is inexpensive game where your body is your equipment. Many Peoples will told you that hundreds of tools you need before starting this game and knockout your opponent. Yeah! there are many new tools in market available but a person who can't effort them, should not be disappointed because you can k.o your opponent with little amount of equipment.

In this article, i will show and explain about every classic and new Pro boxing equipment and tools which may use to increase stamina and power.

There is the long list of these tools with their explanations....


1. Boxing Gloves


There are many kind of gloves which use for Boxing training workout. Many professional boxers use three to five types of gloves. They use Hook & Loop training gloves for hook punch training. You may resume your training with classic gloves for jab, hooks and uppercuts punching but i will explain all types of gloves for your kind information.

Next type of gloves are Powerlock Laced Training Gloves. Floyd Mayweather the Best and Legndary boxer of all time with great record of (49-0) as undefeatd world champion. You can see him training on laced protector with these kind of gloves. These gloves make easy to fight and punch on belly area.

2. Powercore Medicine Ball


Many stamina increasing exercises are done by this ball. I mean its very large and heavy ball which sports man use to build stamina. There are some exercises done by this ball.

3. Jump Rope


There are many types of Jump Rope like speed jump rope and pro weighted jump rope. Its most effective and good cardio exercise in boxing. 15 minutes daily exercise with this gadget make it easy to fight in your bouts. As boxing is anaerobic sports in which very short time required to inhale oxygen. Therefore a boxer need great stamina and capability to store oxygen and the use of oxygen.

Jump rope increase stamina and co-ordination between your body muscles and your mind. Its very important that your brain should be with great connection with your body. It also hard your feet and legs which make easy to absorb great force and little knee movement during sparring and fights.

4. Heavy Bag


I hope everyone is aware about a heavy bag. Its most important and essential part of boxing equipment as it make Home Work for a boxer. A boxer think heavy bag or sand bag is its opponent and fight with it punch upon this bag and think in his mind that bag is its opponent.

There are different types of bags that are used first is Sand Bag (contain sand). This bag increases the punch power and provide a target for a boxer. The second is Speed bag, its most convenient bag which uses for increasing punching speed. Its very light and flexible baloon like bag and you can see how a boxer use it for increasing punching speed. The third is Double Bag, its one point is held by upper portion of stand and second part with down portion of stand. In center its hanged and its the combination of speed bag and heavy bag because it works like both for increasing stamina or punching speed and power.

5. Hand Grip


May be its not essential part or equipment for a boxer but professianl fighter's use it for greatness and to calculate their punch power and their hands and fingers strength. Many nutritionals i have seen in medical departments use this tool to find the fitness of patients and whose nutrional level to be calculated.

6. An Interval Training Timer


A good boxer always care about time. For increasing stamina you need a timer which help you found your time of reaching your target. Suppose you run 10 miles in one hour. The after two months you need to run 10 miles for below one hour and in short time. Therefore, you need to get a time or watch which tell you about time. Also boxing rounds or bouts (3 minutes), you should trianing for are with respect to time.

7. Bandage


Bandage is necessary because it avoid hand injuries and prevent thumb from shocks during fight or sparring. I always wear an boxing bandage before wearing boxing gloves before sparring or real fight and in competitions.

8. The Gum Shield or Mouth Gear


During sparring this shield prevent damaging of tongue and cuts within your mouth. It's the essential equipment in this sport. Refree check it before fight that you are using gum shield or not. Headgear and other equipment also used in sparring but now a days for both amateur fighters and professionals these equipment are not used.
